I thought I would share what we are currently talking about. I (Linda) am getting ready to submit a grant proposal to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) through Lutheran Saints in Ministry (LSIM). In trying to figure out how to explain the complexity of what we have been doing to address issues of Domestic Hunger, I decided to map the network of the garden. Last night at the City Council Meeting I shared these maps with them to show what the use of 1/3 of an acre of City land had generated in social capital to the city and the region.  These were existing institutions and connections that existed in 2015 before we proposed a Community Garden.

 Earlier this month John Krabacher and I signed a $1/year lease with the Tecumseh School District for 9.4 acres of land on the site of the old West Lake Elementary School. Here are map pictures to orient you.
